On The Flipside had the great honor of providing a little added fun to an already special event today. In cooperation with Red Velvet Events and many more wonderful sponsors, we helped the incredible non-profit organization Back On My Feet celebrate its first Annual Bash.
What is Back On My Feet all about, you ask? Back On My Feet uses running to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they can make real change in their lives that results in employment and independent living. In the spirit of its mission, On The Flipside brought in our SociaLite Studio and had guests create automatic GIFS of themselves "crossing the finish line"! Guests could instantly upload to Facebook and Twitter, or email themselves this fun little memento of celebrating Back On My Feet's great success in helping transform lives.more
On The Flipside had the pleasure of bringing InstaGrin fun to the Better Homes and Gardens Owner's Retreat just a few weeks ago. Owners from all over the world celebrated a successful conference at The Rattle Inn, in the heart of downtown Austin, as they hammed it up for the Flipside team. This group was a blast! Everyone who posed for the InstaGrin Social Photo Booth or hashtagged their own party pics walked away with an instant print-out souvenir of their visit to Austin and an awesome BHG Owner's Retreat.more
On the Flipside had a blast at the LG G2 Launch party at The Belmont last week! We brought in two Flipside teams and two InstaGrin Social Photo Booths to help capture the fun from every angle. At the red carpet entrance, our party paparazzi photographed partygoers as they arrived using the new LG G2 phones. Inside The Belmont, guests had a chance to pick props and pose for the camera in our on-site Instagrin Social Photo Booth Studio. Of course, everyone who tweeted a pic or posted to Instagram with our event hashtag walked away with print-outs of the party fun, and, thanks to LG, 50 VIPs walked away with brand new LG G2 phones!more
On The Flipside got to wig out this weekend at the Austin Bridal Extravaganza! Donning colorful, bobbed wigs, the team demonstrated the Action Flipbook Studio for a plethora of planning brides. Our "Party Paparazzi" was dispatched to snap photos from all around the event for the InstaGrin Photo Booth. Everyone who stopped by the booth walked away with a Flipbook or InstaGrin print-out, and fun was had by all! On The Flipside kicked off a six month activation with the fun folks of State Farm this weekend at the annual Keep Austin Weird Fest & 5K. We got funky and unveiled our newest photo technology, The InstaGrin Photo Booth! Austin's "Weirdos" came out in costumes, wigs, and strange get-ups to participate in the 5K and support The Capital Area Food Bank of Texas, and we all kept it weird!more
Experiential marketing is most successful when brands find ways to tie themselves to the emotional or intellectual value that an experience brings to a consumer. Experience operates on every dimension that matters most to engaging consumers: time, place, sensory, immersive, and totally personal. A&E and Civic Entertainment Group called on The Flipside Team during the 2013 SXSW Festival because they wanted to showcase the launch of The Bates Motel Series. Realizing that many of the SXSW customers value a novelty experience above material possessions, A&E decided to fly in the actual live set from The Bates Motel series and let consumers create a short personalized video on the “live” set. This short video was instantly turned into a flipbook for them to takeaway and they were able to tweet out their GIF file to all their friends to see from their mobile devices. On The Flipside operated for for four days at Buffalo Billiards and the lines were non-stop!more
